Christmas hell

is it just me or is this time of year getting to be more hellish with every passing year

the same old music, re hashed, re released or just exactly the same

stores selling special christmas gifts, rather than trying to get us to buy ordinary items that people may actually want or need.

And the stores themselves, hyped up, inflated prices, no staff and no fun experience. now i know i have never actually enjoyed shopping, but it is gettign worse at xmas

and finally - the craze of covering not just inside but the outside of the house with lights and decorations... the stores and power companies must LOVE it

Another dictator bites the dust

Gadaffi is gone, thank god for that

the world is a safer place as another terrorising dictator is killed, removed, and destroyed

no matter the localised cost, and the loss of lives, surely removing people like him from our lives, our world, can only make it a better and safer place for everyone

looking for a tranny shop

As you may be aware I love to cross dress, and i now want to expand my wardrobe with the addition of a pair of boots. but, being a guy with big feet it isn't easy. we used to have a shop in Strood, Kent that catered for all transvestite, cross dresser and most fetish needs. But they closed down and now we have nothing... unless anyone knows otherwise. does anyone know of a cross dressing / transvestite shop in Kent that sells clothes, boots, and toys etc, at reasonable prices? if so please email me as I am dying to go shopping

Fifa - what a joke

FIFA needs to be completely over hauled, as they have lost all credability.

Corruption allegation, after corrucption allergantion... and all just swept under the carpet.

Sep Blatter will be voted in again, and this is the worst thing that could happen for football. He is to old, slow, corrupt and out of touch to help the modern game - I mean come on, how can he still be stalling on goal line technology? Yet insists on having officials that can't see anything or make a decision regardless of the teams / where they are playing. The extra officials on the goal line still aren't getting it right.

And as to the election, a cpl of days ago his main, and only, competitor for the presidency stands down amid teh corruption allegations, then 2 days later Blatter is cleared of ALL charges and is left as the only runner! Talk about a complete joke

police cuts... get a grip

yes the police do a crap job at times, dealing with the low life's, the dreg's... the problems that today's society has created. But, no-one forced them, they chose that career path. so the fact that to save money some of the perks are being cut, or tighter controlled, is no different to any other job - especially if they worked in the private sector. Their pay isn't being cut, despite what the unions are trying to say. Just the extra's that some of them have come to expect, to take for granted, to think that they are their's by rights rather than reward. Overtime, by definition, is an extra payment on a adhoc / as n when needed basis. NOT an expected part of your pay packet. same with other allowances - the give away is in the name! As to the job cuts etc, they are facing a 20% cut, other parts of the civil service are facing up to 40% cuts and do you hear them threatening action or complaining so publicly?

Petrol Prices

The price just keeps going up - petrol and diesel are getting more and more expensive, yet the price of a barrel of crude oil HASN'T risen by the same %!

Why, coz the oil companies can charge what they like! Libya may have reduced production, but Saudi and the other producers ahve increased their's to compensate.

And surely this is a perect chance to get some money into the Iraqi economy - they have oil wells, so get their production up, get more money into the area and country and maybe that will help stabalise that area as the people see the results of the upheaval

But the price will still go up, as greed takes over - last week i read an article where a independant petrol station / company blamed the high price on the competition from the supermarkets! How can competition keep the price HIGH?

Competition lowers prices, by definition it makes it more competative not expensive!

And of course this rise has a knock on effect on everything, as transport costs etc rise, so do retail prices

the only thing not going up is wages

Wednesday 2 March 2011

how much more can we take?

with the midle east etc all goin to rat shit, dictatorships crashing down, governments and societies crumblimg...

how long before they use this as yet anotehr excuse to put uf fuel prices - so our petrol / diesel will go up, as will our home enerbgy supplies of gas and electricity. this will result in retailers putting their prices up to cover the extra costs, etc etc and everything will spiral out of ocntrol

the only thing that doesn't seem to be going up is wages! I haven't had a payrise in 2 years as profits etc are so low, so how can we keep paying these stupid high prices?

Are we heading for a war?

With the break down of the dictatorships all over the middle east, are we heading for a war?

If the extremists get into power, or at least create enough disruption to destabalise the regime, in Libya and other places, will they declare a Jihad, a holy war, on the west? On US?

We may not like some of the dictators or their policies and methods, but what will we get when they are overthrown by violence and riots?

Anyone else worried?
