much as it is sad that someone has died whilst watching a rally, i really don't see how the sport or anyone connected can be blaimed.
it was just one of those things, a racing incident!
there is no way that you could plan / predict what could happen at any point, of what is at times a very unpredictable sport. I mean, can you guess how any particular driver will react with any part of a rough circuit and a specific car, with unknown weather conditions?
No, so lets hope common sense prevails and no stupid H&S rules are put in place that restrict a great sport

football and violence
i love football, have done for many many years.
and it was so sad to see it sinking back into the days of old, back into the scenes we havent seen for a couple of decades.
yes, i am talking about the millwall - west ham game on tuesday night.
do we really need to be seeing scenes like that again? football has grown into a family game, like it should be, not a breeding fround for thugs and bullies.
to make it worse, it was the west ham (HOME) fans causing most of the problems and they won as well!

Waste of police time
What is it with wasting the time, and resources, of our police force nowadays.
Not only do they waste time prosecuting a couple that FOUND a lottery ticket on the floor. Yes, it was a winning ticket, yes they cashed it in. But my view is the original owner lost it, they FOUND it. They didn't steal it, mug her for it or anything like that, they found it on the floor.
They get an 11 month suspended sentence, yet real thieves, burglars, shop lifters, mugger's and worse get away with much less, or even just a caution... if they even get taken to court, how many get off as there is no CCTV so the good old police and CPS drop it as lack of evidence?
Add to this the investigation into the fatal crash resulting from a police chase. Yes, I feel sorry that a 16 year old died, it's a waste when anyone dies. But he did steal a car, he did try and drag race a Subaru in his Mercedes, he did make off from the police after initially stopping. And he had been bailed for car theft just 24 hours earlier - bit of a pattern?
So what did the police do wrong in this instance? Nothing. They did their job, and yet still get investigated for doing it. The youth that dies sped off at up to 130mph, so who is to blame here?

Yet another stupid world record
Just been watching the Britain's got Talent auditions.
Was the bloke who thought that he could go on the show and attempt a new world record serious? Or that it was a suitable act to potentially be performed live in front of the Queen?
I mean, eating Ferrero Rocher chocolates in one minute?
Not only was it a crap idea, he only managed to eat FOUR when the record is SEVEN, but has been practising for months!!!
Add to this that it is unbelievable that there is even a record for how many you can eat!
With this and the chillie eating record from a couple of days ago, what has happened to the world's brain's?
What world record attempt will be next??? Dare I even ask?

51 chillies - does it help to be crazy?
What on earth could possess someone to want to eat FIFTY ONE Chillies in two minutes, just to be in the Guiness Book of Records?
I mean, you must be mad? And very thirsty at the end of it?
Because that is what an Indian woman has done!!
Beg's the question. Where do you draw the line, when does the desire to become a celebrity, to become a record holder and by default slightly famous, actually become insanity, if not sheer stupidity?
If the record now stands at 51, how long before someone else tries to beat this, make it 52, 53.... and want risk to that person's health will this create?
Me, I would rather not be famous, and slightly sane, in my own little world
