rally death
much as it is sad that someone has died whilst watching a rally, i really don't see how the sport or anyone connected can be blaimed.
it was just one of those things, a racing incident!
there is no way that you could plan / predict what could happen at any point, of what is at times a very unpredictable sport. I mean, can you guess how any particular driver will react with any part of a rough circuit and a specific car, with unknown weather conditions?
No, so lets hope common sense prevails and no stupid H&S rules are put in place that restrict a great sport

Gun control in the USA
with all the shootings in schools, and the latest teenage cheer leader shot for being in a park, when she was mistaken for a gang member, surely they need gun control laws?
I mean, even the police can't get it right! They opened fire on a car without even confirming it was the right one - just because it LOOKED similar!
they were hunting a cop gone bad, and instead shot and woundedn 2 innocent women. If they can't confirm they have the right car, or the difference between one guy and 2 women in a car, or even manage to shoot properly if a group of them only wounded 2 people.... they need retraining!
Gun laws are a must, the old crap of 'it is our right, in the constitution, to defend ourselves' is crap and out of date - all they are doing is killing innocent people.
the world is different now, except for the gun loving idiots who can't move with the times

Tazer gun's
What next? A man has died after being shot with tazer / stun gun's by police in Australia. But he had to be shot 28 times!
This has caused human rights groups etc to question their safety?
But surely if he had to be shot 28 times then he was seriously resisting arrest? Who would really want to have that number of electric shocks for fun?
And, consider the alternative. If the police felt the need to tazer him, the other option was to shoot him with a standard hand gun. Maybe it's just me but he would have died with fewer that 28 bullets in him!

School run driver's
Why is it that those people that are part of the school run brigade drive like total idiots.
Maybe their driving is bad all the time, just made worse by the thought of having to get the kid(s) to school, or by the sheer volume of similar idiots on the road.
Don't know what it is but they either drive really slowly, or really fast - nothing in-between! And the road/weather conditions make no difference to the speed!
Add to this the rudeness and lack of consideration for any other road user's, with the way they drive, pull out of junctions / roundabout's and then park by the school.
Why?
