Fantastic Grand Prix

Did you watch the Bahrain F1 GP today?

It was fantastic, some great racing, fantastic skill and brave over taking

Probably the best grand prix i have seen in a long time.

the drivers kept going right to the end, having a go at gaining places.

the actual racing, the driving and skill kept it gripping from start to finish.

i loved it, apart from vettel winning again.

felt sorry for rosberg, but hammilton and the rest enjoyed it

pirelli tyres were crap, they need to get away from the idea of tire degradation improving the race, as the pit stops now have influence, which was what i thought they were getting away from? so the race was won on teh track, not from the best stops and pit lane strategy

Massa in Intensive care!

There was another motor racing accident today.

Luckily no-one died this time though.

During qualifying for the Hungarian Grand Prix Massa was hit in the head by a piece of debris (a spring weighing approx 800g) which wripped of his visor and hit his forhead. He then hit the tyre wall at turn 4 going at nearly full speed.

He was unconcious, taken to the medical centre then flown to hospital in Bucharest.

He has since undergone surgery on his skull.

He suffered a cut above is eye, concussion and skull damage and is currently in intensive care.

Obviously he won't be racing tomorrow, and we hope he gets well soon!

Formula 1

What is it with these teams? Max Mosely is trying to save the sport, and save everyone some money! Yes, the new regulations may split the teams up, but is that so bad? Stick to the £40M budget and the teams can spend more on development, less restrictions and more freedom. Don't and they have limitations placed on them. Surely that helps the smaller teams and makes it better for everyone, especially the fan. Or is this what some of them are afraid of? Not being able to spend £120M plus, or more importantly getting beaten by a team spending way way less than them?
