Fantastic Grand Prix

Did you watch the Bahrain F1 GP today?

It was fantastic, some great racing, fantastic skill and brave over taking

Probably the best grand prix i have seen in a long time.

the drivers kept going right to the end, having a go at gaining places.

the actual racing, the driving and skill kept it gripping from start to finish.

i loved it, apart from vettel winning again.

felt sorry for rosberg, but hammilton and the rest enjoyed it

pirelli tyres were crap, they need to get away from the idea of tire degradation improving the race, as the pit stops now have influence, which was what i thought they were getting away from? so the race was won on teh track, not from the best stops and pit lane strategy

Great weekend

Weather was a bit sad yesterday, overcast n wet. But, as it rained over night last night today has turned out to be a wonderful day. Been out in the garden, now sitting with a cold beer watching the German Grand Prix. And to make it better the Maclaren car's are finally racing! Hamilton got off to a fantastic start, then lost it due to a rear puncture! Still, all good and the race isn't over yet!

Button Wins!

Button won from pole, again!

Not wanting to take anything away from another great win, and another british win. But the fact that so many of the races are now won from pole, doesn;t it mean that the races are less important? Less chance to make a difference, unless their is an accident or failure.

It used to be that they claimed many races were won or lost in the pits, now is seems that the qualifying strategy is more important than anything else.

Never the less - well done Jenson

Formula 1

What is it with these teams? Max Mosely is trying to save the sport, and save everyone some money! Yes, the new regulations may split the teams up, but is that so bad? Stick to the £40M budget and the teams can spend more on development, less restrictions and more freedom. Don't and they have limitations placed on them. Surely that helps the smaller teams and makes it better for everyone, especially the fan. Or is this what some of them are afraid of? Not being able to spend £120M plus, or more importantly getting beaten by a team spending way way less than them?

Spannish Grand Prix

Well, another race gone, and still McLaren can't seem to get the car up to the same standard as the rest of the teams, even Torro Rosso seem to have a better car at the moment. Begs the question, do they need Ron Dennis back at the helm of the F1 team? Have they lost some of their drive and determination? Or has the rear diffuser issue just got the entrie design and development team baffled? Well done Button though, another great win and another Brit on the top of the podium!
